It was his RIGHT to kill her because it's his Religion!

Yes, please, let's bring shariah law to our country and make sharia law global, because I just know YOU want this sort of thing to be A-OK. He killed his daughter because it was his right under his religion, his culture, his religion, his culture. All YOU have to do is stay quiet and pretend that this sort of escalating behavior we are seeing more and more in the western world and in the USA, does not and will not affect you or your children or grandchildren. And don't forget the religion of multiculturalism that says all cultures are equal. Please don't pay any attention to the Islamist trying to make Christianity illegal or to wipe out the Jews, Hindus, Zoriastrians, and all non-muslims, and to get the UN to back them on their demands. Oh hell....just go back to your gameboys and WIIs and reports on what slut singer is or is not wearing panties....Just go shopping and forget the forces that are working to bring Islam to world domination and barbarism, because it doesn't effect YOU. /sarcasm

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH

A Georgia man was appearing in court Tuesday on charges he killed his own daughter for disgracing his family.

Chaudhry Rashid, wearing a red jumpsuit and shackles around his ankles, went before Chief Judge Daphne Walker at the Clayton County Magistrate Court Monday where he was to be arraigned on a murder charge.

But, she delayed the case because she did not feel comfortable holding the proceedings without an interpreter for him, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The 54-year-old, who is of Pakistani descent and speaks very little English, kept his head down as charges were read, and appeared to have difficulty understanding instructions from the judge, possibly the result of a language barrier.

His two sons were also in attendance, watching their father from seats in the rear of the courtroom, joined by two others. Rashid waved to their corner as he shuffled slowly out, impeded by the shackles.

Rashid was brought back to jail and was being held without bond until his hearing Tuesday.

The 25-year-old victim, Sandeela Kanwal, was wed in Pakistan in an arranged marriage. Police said Kanwal hadn't seen her husband, who lives in Chicago, for months.

According to police, there was "friction between father and victim" in the weeks leading up to the killing. Rashid had not spoken to his daughter in more than two months.

Police said Rashid was so angered that his daughter planned to divorce her husband that he killed her after a heated argument at the family's home, FOX News affiliate MyFoxAtlanta reported.

Police who arrived at the scene said they found Rashid's two sons at the end of the driveway and their father sitting behind a car smoking a cigarette. Officers said that Rashid appeared "distraught and possibly mournful" and told police "my daughter is dead" when they arrived.

After entering the home, Kanwal's body was discovered in the doorway of a bedroom, cold to the touch, officials said.

A police report said that there were possible "ligature marks" indicating strangulation on the victim and noted that an iron and cord had been found near her body. A necklace was also found on a table downstairs, according to the report.

Rashid was taken to the Clayton County jail where he reportedly confessed to strangling Kanwal.

The news shocked neighbors and friends.

"The family is very upset and stressed," said Shahid Malik of the Pakistani American Community of Atlanta. Malik told MyFoxAtlanta that he met with the family Sunday and said they were all traumatized.

Rashid will be back in court Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. EDT. His bond hearing is scheduled for July 25 at 8 a.m., with a preliminary hearing July 24.
