CALL TO ACTION, AMERICA! Help stop the attack on Free Speech

Dear Friends,

The so-called “Fairness Doctrine” and the extreme negative impact it will have if enacted into law is a huge attack on Free Speech.

Imagine a United States where ubiquitous government censors or “advisory boards” roamed the airwaves making sure all radio (and possibly other media) “presented both sides” of every debate!

The chilling effect this development represents to many radio stations would result in them simply throwing up their hands and banning all discussion of the crucial issues of the day because their compliance costs and burdens just went through the roof. Interview guests like Brigitte Gabriel would be shown the door.

This is, of course, exactly what the thought police have in mind. If they can’t compete with rational logic, they’ll just over-regulate it until it’s extinct. Unfortunately, this censorship appears to be alive and well in Congress and in a White House that has given zero intention of vetoing this legislative travesty.

I bring up this issue with you because this is something you can do that doesn’t take much time, but draws attention to this legislative issue ACT! for America will be tackling this year. We want to deliver as many signatures as possible to Congress!

To work this petition drive, you may:
Sign the petition on the website and then forward it on to your contact lists…Plus…


Create a paper petition that captures all the required information listed on the website petition. Then take it to your friends and other volunteers to collect signatures (and the rest of the data required) on the paper copy. Your volunteers can then input the data they collected onto the website petition after they have collected the signatures. (Be sure to also print the names on your paper copy for legibility. Items such as email address and physical address must be included to be inputted on the website petition.)
By utilizing the 2nd option above, our potential for collecting signatures is greatly increased. It would become a real tool to prevent the “Fairness Doctrine” from ever seeing the light of day! Thank you for considering this activity.
