Thank God for those veterans who traveled to places like Europe, Asia, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Bosnia, Lebanon, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Let us remember those who over the years have provided us the opportunity to enjoy the freedom and liberty that is America. Thank a veteran for the ability to enjoy the sunshine with our spouse, our children and grandchildren, and pursue whatever happiness means to us.
No one knows better than a veteran that freedom is not free. We must be eternally vigilant

Make it a point to say 'Thank you' to every person you come across who served in our Armed Forces. Freedom does not come cheap and we should be grateful for all those who have served our country.
It is important to acknowledge the contributions our service people make.
